Brazilian social media influencer Bianca Dias died following complications from plastic surgery.
The 27-year-old social media star reportedly suffered a pulmonary embolism — a risk tied to major cosmetic procedures — after experiencing shortness of breath while recovering from a recent surgery at her family’s house near Sao Paulo, TMZ reported.
Dias was rushed to hospital, but doctors were unable to save her.
The influencer’s death comes just 18 days after her initial surgery — though it is unclear what procedure she had done.
Local authorities have reportedly launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death, according to TMZ.
