Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and wife Cilia Flores were indicted on charges of narcoterrorism, a newly released indictment from the DOJ shows.
The couple are en route to New York aboard the USS Iwo Jima to face justice.
President Trump ordered airstrikes on military sites around Caracas with at least seven explosions and low-flying aircraft, beginning around 2 a.m. local time.

Amid the heightened tensions between the two countries, Trump also announced that Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores were captured by US forces an overnight military operation early Saturday.
“The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
