Wild scene in mid-flight as passenger is restrained after apparent attempt to open emergency exit

An unruly passenger had to be restrained by crewmembers after attempting to open the emergency exit on a flight to South Korea.

The incident occurred on Nov. 8 aboard Korean Air flight KE658 from Bangkok, Thailand to the South Korean capital Seoul, Jam Press reported.

Korean Air representatives reported that the “passenger was relocated to a secure area where the situation was successfully de-escalated.”
