New video filmed outside an immigration detention center in Newark shows anti-ICE demonstrators and officers clashing as the leftists attempt to blockade the front entrance of the facility.
Protesters were filmed grappling with officers over plastic barriers they were attempting to use to block a large white truck from leaving Delaney Hall, which has been the scene of chaotic demonstrations since the weekend, according to the clip shared by Freedom News TV.
After the barriers were cleared by detention facility employees, a man in a button-down shirt and jeans stood in front of the exiting truck, arms akimbo, seemingly posing for pictures as several photographers rushed in to document the scene.

He maintained his posture for a few seconds before a jail worker shooed him away so the truck could depart.
The anti-ICE protesters started gathering outside the center – many of them wearing keffiyeh scarves and waving Antifa flags – during the holiday weekend when hundreds of ICE detainees inside reportedly went on a hunger and labor strike, purportedly to protest conditions inside the 1,000-bed facility.
However, DHS chief Markwayne Mullin said there is no ongoing hunger strike at Delaney Hall and that there are “no subprime conditions.”
Though their ranks seem to have thinned Tuesday morning, the demonstrators’ tactics appear to have grown more disruptive and chaotic.
One video shows armed ICE agents wearing helmets and vests facing off with the crowd, including a woman who appeared to be screaming into a bullhorn inches from an agent’s face.
Democratic elected officials from the Garden State including Sen. Andy Kim and Rep. Rob Menendez, toured the facility over the weekend, but NJ Gov. Mikie Sherrill was unable to gain access Monday in a move the Department of Homeland Security dismissed as a “political stunt.”
