Argument escalates to subway stabbing at Brooklyn station: NYPD

An argument on a southbound Q train escalated to a violence early Friday morning, leaving a 39-year-old man stabbed and police searching for the suspect, according to the NYPD.

According to authorities, the suspect engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim around 12:40 a.m. at the Parkside Avenue Station in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a sharp object before fleeing the scene.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white sneakers and carrying a blue backpack.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in critical condition.
