The brutish dunderhead who chucked a glass bottle at an NYPD cop’s head at a Queens public housing complex in early September was was arrested and charged Friday, police said.
Robert Zuniga, 27, allegedly hurled the bottle at a 29-year-old officer responding to a fight at the NYCHA Ravenswood Houses around 12:45 a.m. on Sept. 6, cops said.
The cop was attempting to disperse a chaotic crowd when Zuniga allegedly launched his attack.
The officer was left with a bad cut and had to be hospitalized.
Zuniga — who lives in Astoria — was charged with assault on a police officer, attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.
