He was just doing his duty.
A supervisor at a crime-scene cleanup company allegedly ordered a rookie worker to poop in a bucket as “company policy” — and then dementedly started at the droppings for 15 minutes as part of a fecal “fetish,” a gross new lawsuit claims.
Former supervisor Michael Azoia even asked underling Enrique Rivera “How’s your a–hole?” as part of a poo-obsessed campaign of harassment that included farting in the new worker’s face, court papers filed in Albany Supreme Court say.
“Azoia sexually harassed [Rivera] … including with perverse, sexually charged remarks about his own fetish for fecal matter,” the filing says.
Rivera had been working for just two weeks at the biohazard cleaning firm Aftermath Services, and was scrubbing the scene of an apparent suicide in Rome, New York, in March, when Azoia gave his sick orders, the papers said.
“It’s company policy that everyone takes a s–t in the bucket because we can’t use the client’s bathroom,” he allegedly said, claiming that “someone used all of the client’s toilet paper once and now we have to use a bucket.”
Rivera claims he felt obligated to follow the orders, and dutifully used a bucket inside the company van to relieve himself — as Azoia allegedly sat in the front seat.
“I smelled it,” the suit alleges Azoia said afterwards. “I could hear you the whole time. How’s your a–hole? You should of [sic] heard the sounds you made. I could hear you from here.”
Azoia then allegedly went to the back of the van and “lasciviously” licked his lips and ogled the waste for 15 minutes inside the vehicle, and talked about the disgusting deed as they worked on a cleanup job.
“It smelled raunchy and rank,” Azoia allegedly said.
The lawsuit lists other crude behavior from Azoia, like how he “farted and sexually whispered” in Rivera’s ear up to 20 times a day as they cleaned up a grim suicide at a Lake George home.
Just days before Rivera finally quit, he claims Azoia revealed his bare bottom “within an inch” of his face and he “felt the warm air of [Azoia’s] flatulence,” the suit sickly says.
“Does it taste like beef stew,” Azoia allegedly said, licking his lips.
But Azoia called Rivera’s claims nothing but a steaming pile of you know what — as he suggested in a phone interview that the alleged bucket dump was entirely consensual.
“Nothing was forced” he told The Post when asked about the bowel bucket.
“The fact of the matter is, he was looking at termination for his own actions, and he decided to make somebody else’s life hell.”
“He’s been making these allegations for well over six months now,” Azoia said, “and to be honest with you, I’m completely sick of it.”
Rivera said nothing was done until he sent in a written report, and Aftermath sacked Azoia as a result.
“When this former employee raised concerns in March, we investigated promptly and took appropriate action,” Aftermath said, adding that they “dispute the allegations.”

Azoia said his termination had nothing to do with Rivera’s “outlandish” claims, and denied many of the allegations read to him over the phone.
“Enrique Rivera was a problem employee,” Azoia said, and claimed he had a stack of write-ups and discipline issues — but declined to specify.
“He dragged a lot of people through mud for no reason whatsoever because he couldn’t handle the job that we were doing,” he said. “He only wants a quick payday — and he made that abundantly clear.”
“I took this job ready to work hard,” Rivera said in a statement to The Post. “Instead, I spent every day dreading what my boss would say or do next. It was deeply humiliating and degrading. No one should have to go through that just to earn a paycheck.”
“Enrique was hired to clean up hazardous materials,” said Rivera’s attorney Johnmack Cohen. “He never expected the most toxic part of the job would be his boss.”
