Democrats are celebrating an unusual new feat this midterm cycle after the blue wave secured the “gayest Congress in American history,” according to the Congressional Equality Caucus, a pro-LGBTQ group of lawmakers.
The leftwing group currently has 192 Democratic members and zero Republicans.
17 openly gay lawmakers will be in the next Congress after six new LGBTQ candidates won their races.
Last election cycle, Democrats also elected the first transgender lawmaker in history, Rep. Tim “Sarah” McBride (D-DE)
the Congressional Equality Caucus wrote on X:
The American people have made their voices heard.
The 120th Congress will officially be the GAYEST Congress in history! (that we know of)
Let’s get to work

Another record the incoming 119th Congress has is “the most diverse Congress in U.S. history and the eighth in a row to increase its share of non-White members,” according to the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education.
The Democrats are sure to put they/them ahead of you once again and do everything possible to cement DEI policies into federal law.

His reporting on election crimes in Maricopa County led to the resignation of one election official, and he was later banned from the Maricopa County press room for his courage in pursuit of the truth. TGP and Jordan finally gained access after suing Maricopa County, America’s fourth largest county, and winning at the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
