Harbor Police Sgt. Jose Torres said an employee at the terminal received the threat around 7 a.m., and the terminal was locked down “out of an abundance of caution” for police Explosive Detection Canine Units to search the premises.

The Disney Wonder was among the vessels docked at the terminal, with its passengers unable to disembark while the search was underway.

“The ships are immaculate, the staff ratios are generous, the security protocols are visible from the moment you step into a terminal, and the entire operation runs with the kind of precision that makes parents feel comfortable handing over a week of their family’s life to a floating resort,” said the statement published on Disney fan website Inside the Magic.

“For most guests, a Disney cruise is the definition of controlled, curated, worry-free travel. Nothing unexpected happens.

“Nothing goes wrong that Disney cannot immediately manage with a smile and a cast member in a pressed uniform,” the statement continued.
