A fast-moving wildfire broke out in Los Angeles County Thursday afternoon, forcing a highway closure and evacuation warnings.
The Dora Fire started in the community of Neenach near Lancaster, quickly growing to 750 acres, according to Cal Fire.
The blaze caused the closure of Highway 138 from Lancaster Road and 120th Street West, Cal Fire reported.
The fire was first reported at 3:44 p.m., with evacuation warnings for zone LAC-E1641 issued just 30 minutes later.
It had grown to 750 acres by 4:26 p.m., Cal Fire reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
