A North Carolina teacher was given the boot after she allegedly smacked around several of her students with a ruler, police said.
Likisha Carter, 55, went on the smacking spree on Sept. 15, whacking six students “on various parts of the body” inside Hunter Elementary School in Greensboro, according to a warrant obtained by WXII 12.
The ornery educator allegedly walloped kids aged between 5- and 8-years-old inside an adaptive classroom in the school, before being arrested on Oct. 29, cops said.
Court records show that Carter was charged with six counts of assault on a child under 12.
She was released on Monday after posting a $5,000 bond, according to online court records.
Officials said that Carter had taught at the school from Aug. 21, 2024 until Oct. 26, 2026, before being let go.
Attorney information for Carter was not available, and she could not be immediately reached for comment.
