Ex-assistant sues Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag over dog bite claims

An alleged former assistant of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag was viciously attacked by the celeb couple’s dog, according to a new lawsuit.

Cole Gill allegedly sustained puncture wounds to his right thigh and other injuries that led to “permanent disfigurements” when Spencer and Heidi’s dog, named Ego, attacked him at the couple’s home in Carpinteria, CA, the lawsuit, obtained by The California Post, said.

Gill claimed he was grabbing a credit card to run errands when he came across the Dutch Shepherd guard dog at the home on November 17, 2025.

“The owner of any dog is liable for the damages suffered by any person who is bitten by the dog while in public place or lawfully in private place, including the property of the owner of the dog,” the documents said.

Cole is asking for unspecified damages including compensatory damages, wage loss and medical expenses — TMZ was first to report the lawsuit.

The reality television star and former Los Angeles mayoral candidate posted a picture of Gunner posing in front of the president’s empty desk with arms rested on two chairs. Gunner, in a dress shirt and suit, sported a big grin.

Pratt said his passion for helping the country is the same as loving his child.

Pratt’s father, William, made headlines this week for trying to put out a fire that suddenly erupted in the Palisades, creating haunting memories of when Pratt and Montag lost their home in the Palisades Fire, prompting the reality star to ultimately run for mayor.
