Newly released texts from Dr. Anthony Fauci show a divergence in his private and public comments about the COVID-19 vaccine and the potential for it to be linked to miscarriages.

On Monday, Republican Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Rand Paul of Kentucky released texts from Fauci’s government-issued cellphone.

Among them was a Jan. 25 text to then-Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.

“I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of,” Fauci wrote.

“Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester,” he wrote.

Once again, Anthony Fauci was saying one thing in public and something completely different in private.

“Once again, Anthony Fauci was saying one thing in public and something completely different in private,” Paul posted on X.

“He was willing to put women and their unborn children at risk instead of admitting that he was wrong about the vaccines that he tried guilting Americans into taking. Absolutely reprehensible,” Paul said.

Walensky responded to Fauci that his concerns were “definitely a good point, [especially] after dose two,” according to the release.

On Feb. 3, Fauci told the Journal of the American Medical Association that the Food and Drug Administration “found thus far, and we have to be careful, but thus far no red flags about that, about pregnant women.”

In time, that morphed into a comment from Fauci that “10s and 10s and 10s of thousands of women who have been followed by the CDC, who have been vaccinated when they were pregnant, there’s no indication whatsoever that there’s any increase of any adverse issues in a pregnant woman who was vaccinated compared to a pregnant woman who wasn’t vaccinated … it’s pretty clear that pregnant women should get vaccinated.”

The phone contains more than 34,000 text messages and 522 voice mails, the release from Johnson and Paul said.

A January text from Murthy said he was “surprised to see WHO [World Health Organization] put out a strong [statement] saying they do not recommend [Moderna] in pregnant women,” according to the New York Post.

“That’s a strong statement to make and potentially quite damaging to public confidence among pregnant women,” he wrote on Jan. 26, 2021.

NEW: Dr. Fauci was concerned in January 2021 that the second dose of the COVID shot “theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.”

In a post on X, Johnson noted that, “While I’ve been conducting oversight for years, now that we have the documents and Fauci’s government-issued phone, my investigation has only just begun.”
