The Florida mom accused of abandoning her four children at home during an almost week-long trip to Las Vegas raged at her kids for calling 911 after their little brother had to be hospitalized with a head injury, police revealed to The Post.
Irene Miller, 50, is facing four counts of child endangerment after Osceola County deputies found her 9-year-old son suffering from a bloody forehead wound inflicted by a dumbbell that came crashing down while he was building a fort inside their Kissimmee home at around 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.
The boy, his 11-year-old sister and brothers, aged 12 and 14, had been left unsupervised – except for a babysitter who drove two hours from Tampa to check on them in the mornings and after school each day.

Their photographer mom left them Oct. 18 for a five-day work trip in Las Vegas.
When deputies reached Miller on her cell phone after the accident, “She’s very dismissive to the deputy saying that she’s working right now…then says she is going to have to go and hangs up on the deputy,” Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Kim Montes recalled on Wednesday.
But the mom’s next move was even more bewildering.
“Then she proceeds to call the 14-year-old on his cell phone, and I don’t want to use the word yell…but basically tells the 14-year-old, ‘Why are you calling 911? You’re going to get me in trouble,’” Montes said.
“She’s berating the son for calling 911…while he was standing right there with the deputy. It was on speaker.”
“So she knew what she did was wrong,” the captain continued.

Still, Miller didn’t turn around and fly home – even as her son’s head wound was glued back together in the hospital and, later that night, all four of the kids were placed in the care of her allegedly abusive husband.
Mark Miller, 53, was hit with a criminal battery charge and restraining order after his wife of 15 years accused him of slapping her phone out of her hand during a heated confrontation outside of their kids’ school in August, according to court documents reviewed by The Post.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Irene Miller, who was born in Russia, then filed a petition for a dissolution of marriage against Mark Miller, who was born in Ukraine, just last month, the docs show.

Last week, “The kids were ecstatic to see [their father]…like hugging him, happy to go with him, very ecstatic to see him,” Montes said, adding that the court-ordered no contact order between the parents did not mean the kids could not stay with their dad.
Mark Miller and the children have reportedly been staying at a motel since then.
Back at the family home, cops noted something else that was off during their search last week.
“The house was clean, the kids were clean. The deputy did notice that there wasn’t a lot of food there,” Montes said. “There just didn’t seem to be a lot of food there for four children.”
Irene Miller was met by cops at the Orlando Airport upon her return from Las Vegas on Friday of last week – a day and a half after the accident.
She was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail, but posted her $4,000 surety bond on Saturday.
Her next court date wasn’t immediately clear.
