A24’s “Backrooms” movie is scary enough, but a FOX11 LA anchor’s not-suitable-for-work mistake could be…darker.

He thought the movie was titled “Backdoor.”

Anchor Bob DeCastro joked on the Friday morning show that he was looking up the movie and put in the mistaken title.

“That’s a whole different genre,” entertainment anchor Amanda Salas cheekily said. “Whole different movie.”

Salas tried to move on, but the anchors couldn’t help but laugh.

“The back door!” DeCastro joked, breaking into laughter again. The anchor tried to joke about the issue more, but an embarrassed co-anchor, Jennifer Lahmers, put her hand up to quiet him.

“Good morning,” she interrupted to tell interviewers as they shifted to the traffic report, “how are you?”

Lahmers posted the clip on Instagram.

“I love how @jennlahmers is trying hide when she’s smack dab in the middle of it,” another person said.

“Love the new Backdoor movie,” a third joked.
