Secretary of State Marco Rubio has once again proven that he’s the ultimate multitasker in the Trump administration.
On Wednesday afternoon, Rubio made an unannounced appearance in the White House briefing room.
With Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt currently on maternity leave, Rubio stepped to the podium and quipped that he was there “to mess with someone and carry out a joke.”
The moment quickly went viral, as Rubio has become famous for stepping up and handling multiple high-level roles in the Trump White House at once.
It has become a long-running meme that whenever a position is vacant, Rubio will be the one to fill it.
Rubio has been memed as everyone from Rambo to the Easter Bunny.

Rubio is currently the Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor, but he previously also served as Acting Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and Acting Archivist of the United States.
