Today, reports arise that under PM Keir ‘Not-a-Churchill’ Starmer, Britain only has enough drones for one week of war with Russia.

The Telegraph reported:
“The military’s stockpile of drones is so low that it would vanish within days of war breaking out with Moscow.
Defense chiefs fear that Vladimir Putin could be ready to invade Europe by the end of the decade if a peace deal is struck with Ukraine.”
It’s difficult to overstate just how central drones have become to modern warfare, but the UK army currently has only 6,000 drones in its arsenal, a mere fraction of what would be needed to resist an invasion.
“Currently, Ukraine is using an estimated 9,000 drones a day as it battles to keep Putin’s troops at bay. Kyiv also claims it destroys about 30,000 Russian drones a month.
Britain would be likely to need to use hundreds of drones every day. If it was forced to deploy its current unmanned aerial fleet at the same rate as Russia or Ukraine, it would run out in a matter of days.”
