Instant karma for crook who jacked beloved boat off owners’ driveway: ‘We have the last laugh’

A pair of brazen thieves who jacked a California owner’s bass boat right off their driveway in broad daylight got a taste of instant karma when the owners tracked it down themselves — and stole it right back.

The Stryker Bass Boat and trailer were stolen last week from a home near Polk and Cornelia avenues in Fresno, according to FOX26.

Surveillance footage captured two masked men backing their truck into the driveway before hooking the boat to the rear of the vehicle and hauling it away.

But the crooks’ joyride didn’t last long.

The owners were tipped off by a community member who believed they had spotted the missing boat.

Tired of waiting, they decided to take matters into their own hands, loaded the boat themselves, and brought it back home.
