Where do you go when you’re looking for answers to certain conspiracy theories? Jose Canseco, of course. He’s not going to leave you hanging. He’s going to tell you exactly what he thinks.
According to the former MLB star, professional sports aren’t scripted and tanking is not a thing. But Bigfoot is absolutely real in the form of “some species out there unknown to man that the government is hiding.”

Canseco shared his thoughts on various conspiracies, from Bigfoot and aliens to the moon landing and celebrity body doubles as part of an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast a couple of weeks ago.

In addition to the conspiracies, he also talked about dating Madonna, beating Rickey Henderson in a footrace, and how the home run off of his head happened with his future second wife, who he met at a Hooters, in attendance.
Back to Canseco’s thoughts on various conspiracy theories. He was asked to rate them from one to ten. Bigfoot was up first and without hesitation he gave it a ten. He believes in an unknown species being hidden by the government.

Next up was the moon landing being faked. He’s not as sold on that one. He gave it a five and said, “I don’t know much about that science area, moon landing and outer space, so I’ll say five.”

So far so good. You don’t have to agree with him, but at least you can follow his line of thinking. He knows the government is hiding Bigfoot, but doesn’t know the science behind the moon landing.
As the rundown of conspiracies continues, he reveals that he’s surprisingly not a flat-earther, and that he doesn’t believe professional sports teams tank either.
Next up was celebrity body doubles and that one he’s in on. He doesn’t rank it, but says: “I would say some do for security reasons, that can walk around or distract other people. Yes.”
I’d argue with that if there was any way to argue with it. As with all his answers, there’s solid reasoning behind these as well.

You can try to trip him up with questions about the Loch Ness Monster, but he’s not falling for that one. He’s also not falling for Area 51 currently being used to hide things. In the past it was, but not today, according to Canseco.
The same goes for Atlantis. He said of the legendary island nation, “It was real at one point. Not today, no.”
“100% times infinity,” Canseco said when asked if aliens have visited Earth. “As a matter of fact, I believe we have some type of agreements with aliens.”

He wrapped up the Q&A with this nugget about pro sports being scripted: “That’s impossible. There’s no way something physical that happens so fast it can be scripted.”
When you’re going as high as 100% times infinity on something, I don’t care what it is or whether I agree with you. I believe that you believe what you’re saying. At the end of the day, that’s all that can be expected.
