A man riding an e-bike was fatally struck by a pick-up truck driver in the Bronx during the Wednesday morning rush, cops and sources said.

The 50-year-old biker was heading west on East 145th Street when the truck driver, traveling south on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven, hit him around 8:25 a.m., according to authorities and law enforcement sources.

He was taken with head and body trauma to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The pick-up truck driver, a 55-year-old man, stayed at the scene and did not immediately face any charges, police said.

His name was not released pending family notification.

The fatal crash happened just two days after a 71-year-old bicyclist was killed when he crashed into a dog running free in Central Park, police said.

Douglas Adams was riding north on the East Drive near East 84th Street around 8:20 a.m. Monday when he struck the unleashed Golden Retriever that darted into the roadway, police and the sources said.

Lincoln Hospital, which houses a water cooling tower found to have traces of legionella pneumophila bacteria, is seen on Thursday, August 13, 2015, in the Bronx borough of New York City. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said that while new cases of Legionnaires' may appear, the outbreak has been contained and the water cooling towers believed to be responsible have been decontaminated.

The impact catapulted the senior over the handlebars and headfirst into the pavement, police said.

He was rushed to Weill Cornell Medical Center, but could not be saved.

And last week, a delivery woman was killed when a dump truck plowed into her e-bike and then drove off in the heart of Herald Square, according to cops and an advocacy group.

The truck driver collided with the 50-year-old cyclist the morning of Sept. 28, as both headed west on West 34th Street, approaching Seventh Avenue, police said.

The woman — who was riding a JOCO rental e-bike and making a delivery — was pronounced dead at the scene.
