This will make a splash.

Dozens of outdoor Big Apple pools are slated to open for the summer season this weekend — and Parks workers and maintenance crews are now racing to put the finishing touches.

More than 50 massive outdoor pools across the five boroughs – including 13 Olympic-sized pools and 17 mini-pools meant for tots – will officially open Saturday at 11 a.m., a Parks rep confirmed to The Post.

“Our maintenance staff has been working for weeks to prepare our pools,” the rep said, with final preparation tasks including scraping and repainting pool basins, repairing locker rooms and testing filtration systems citywide.

This summer, 51 of the city’s 53 outdoor pools will be open, according to the Parks department — which saw a whopping 1 million city dwellers take a dip last year.

Some of the largest offerings include Crotona and Van Cortlandt pools in The Bronx, Astoria Pool in Queens and the year-old Gottesman Pool at the Davis Center in Manhattan. Each of these pools are Olympic-sized, which means they are 50 meters long and 25 meters wide.

The Haffen Pool in The Bronx will be closed for a $13.4 million reconstruction project that began in April, and the Tony Dapolito Pool in Manhattan — with an iconic Keith Haring mural — is shuttered “due to the site’s structural condition and a planned reconstruction,” the rep said.

Most of the water respites will be open to city dwellers through September 13, though mini-pools will close earlier on Sept. 7.

The city’s outdoor pools will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a cleaning break between 3 and 4 p.m.

When heat emergencies are declared, pool closing times are extended to 8 p.m., Parks said.
