Penthouse Pet dumped by billionaire fiancé after arrest in alleged dating scam targeting rich men

The wedding between billionaire California businessman Stephen Cloobeck and the Penthouse Pet accused of stealing from rich sugar daddies has been called off — as shocking details of the model’s latest arrest are revealed.

Cloobeck broke off his engagement to Adva Lavie, who is facing 11 years behind bars for allegedly using dating apps to steal from wealthy Los Angeles moguls, The California Post has learned.

The whirlwind romance ended in early June, and Lavie no longer lives in Cloobeck’s $26 million Beverly Hills mansion.

But the billionaire is still friendly with his former fiancée and “still cares about Adva,” a person close to the couple told The Post.

The couple was engaged in February and had planned to get married in Jerusalem on June 12, sending out a “Save the Date” message to friends and family. No specific reason for the split was given, but the two remain close.

Cloobeck was having dinner with Lavie at the Mediterranean Beverly Hills hotspot Azur Tuesday night when police swooped in to arrest her yet again. She was found not to be wearing a court-required ankle monitor.

The latest arrest stems from a grand theft charge that dates back to April of 2025, when Lavie was attending the Coachella music festival. She is accused of stealing items from more than one victim at a rented Airbnb, Indio police told The Post.

One victim reported over $25,000 in personal property missing on April 15, including jewelry, credit cards and cologne, according to police.

Another victim reported missing jewelry, high-end sunglasses and an expensive wallet, police said. Lavie has been charged with felony grand theft.

Lavie has been behind bars since her latest arrest. She had been free on bail, but her bond was revoked by a judge after it was revealed by prosecutors in court Wednesday that she was not wearing her GPS-monitoring ankle bracelet. 

Lavie was first arrested in March and charged with six felonies, including two counts of grand theft, two counts of burglary and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

The model has violated the terms of her bail regularly, including leaving LACounty and obtaining an Israeli passport. The judge let her off with a warning both times.

A bail hearing is scheduled for Friday to determine if Lavie will remain locked up until her trial for the six initial felonies can begin. 

She has also tried to avoid jail time by filing a motion for diversion — revealing sexual abuse, illicit drug use and her life as a paid escort in Las Vegas. 

The Post can also reveal that Lavie’s high-powered legal team is no longer funded by Cloobeck.

The billionaire former backer of the disgraced ex-Congressman Eric Swalwell was also arrested in relation to the original case over accusations of witness tampering. 

On May 12, Cloobeck surrendered at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station on an outstanding felony warrant for alleged violation of dissuading or intimidating a witness or victim of a crime.

Cloobeck was released the same day after posting a $300,000 bail. The investigation is being conducted by the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station and the LAPD.

If convicted on all counts, Cloobeck faces up to 11 years and six months in prison and up to $30,000 in fines.

Cloobeck is expected to enter a plea in his case on August 7 in a LA courtroom.
