“Squad” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) boasted that Minnesota liberals “defeated ICE’s racist terror campaign” in a cringey video trying to hop on a new TikTok-like trend — but the embattled lefty was swiftly roasted for her efforts.
Plopped into a seat, “The Squad” member adjusted her blazer and fidgeted with a microphone as if she were about to be interviewed in the 10-second clip she shared Wednesday on Facebook.
Omar, 43, took a deep breath as dramatic instrumental music played in the background.
“Me preparing for the documentary on how we defeated ICE’s racist terror campaign in Minnesota,” she wrote in a text overlay on the video.
“We’re built different in Minnesota,” she proclaimed in the caption with an arm muscle and a blue heart emoji.
Omar’s stab at the viral documentary trend — where people act as if they are giving a confessional in a documentary — elicited groans.

“This is so cringe. Everything about this little clip has been ripped off,” one man raged on X.
“I’m waiting for the documentary she does behind bars,” another chimed in, alluding to a Congressional investigation into Omar’s finances, just as a massive social services fraud scheme involving the Somali community in her district surfaced.
“Or is it a fraud documentary?” another critic wrote on Facebook.

Others disagreed with her claim that ICE — which arrested over 4,000 illegal aliens in Minnesota during Operation Metro Surge in early 2026 — was “defeated.”
“‘Defeated’? I think we have different definitions of that word,” someone charged on Facebook.
Omar and ICE did not immediately return The Post’s requests for comment.
