Runaway piglets lead South Carolina cops on hilarious caught-on-camera foot chase: ‘No ham was done’

They’re career crim-ham-nals.

A pair of escaped piglets dubbed “bacon bits” led South Carolina cops on a wild foot chase recently which was hilariously caught on camera.

The two runaway pigs were seen dashing across roads and bolting down sidewalks in footage shared by a local resident on Monday — all in an impressive effort to evade the police in Beaufort.

The officers relentlessly pursued the swine suspects on foot for several minutes.

At one point during the porky pursuit, a cop jumps into the air and frantically waves his arms in panic when one of the piglets pivots sharply and runs towards parkland.

The officers relentlessly pursued the swine suspects on foot for several minutes, lunging left and right as the agile piglets fought tooth and trotter to avoid the slammer.

Both piglets, who were given the moniker “bacon bits,” were accused of the crimes of fleeing — and squealing.

The pair of runaway pigs were eventually captured by police and safely returned to their owners.

Fortunately, “no ham was done” and the fugitive pigs were caught by the cops and safely returned to their owners.

“We have no caption for this… thankfully, an amazing citizen caught the chase on camera,” the department wrote on Facebook.
