Four Texas State University pledges were arrested on hazing charges for allegedly forcing a frat bro into a truck as part of “a tradition,” cops said.

San Marcos Police responded to several calls about multiple Phi Delta Theta fraternity pledges forcing an active member into a truck as he yelled for them to let him go on Tuesday, police said.

Noah Lara, 20, Wyatt Carr, 18, William Oldner, 19 and Tyler Fogg, 18, were all arrested on hazing charges, according to police. The pledges had apparently turned the tables on the brother as part of “a tradition,” cops said.

If convicted of the Class B misdemeanor, they could face a $2,000 fine and/or up to 180 days in jail, a police spokesperson said.

The university released a statement saying it was “committed to maintaining social and ethical responsibility for everyone and does not tolerate hazing by any group or individual affiliated with the university.”

The statement went on to say that even willing “participation in hazing activities is against state law and university policy.”

A spokesperson told The Post it could not discuss disciplinary action due to federal privacy laws.

A Phi Delta Theta spokesperson said that the frat was “gathering information and… working closely with the university and local law enforcement,” and added it “does not support or condone behavior that jeopardizes the safety of others.”

The incident came after the University of Arizona suspended all Interfraternity Council chapters’ activities earlier this month after reports of physical assault, hazing, drugs and alcohol usage and “creating unsafe environments for our students,” and West Virginia University cracked down on a house whose alleged hazing led to a “serious or continuing” threat against the campus community.

Fraternities had been under the microscope across the country following the lawsuit that leveled bombshell gang rape accusations against Cornell University frat brothers and the arrest of 14 frat bros accused of dealing mountains of cocaine at Penn State.

There had been 36 hazing-related deaths at US colleges and universities since 2017, a Post report earlier this month found.
