Connecticut State Troopers arrived at the scene of the crash just before 5:40 a.m. on Monday and discovered thousands of cans of Michelob Ultra and Bud Light were scattered everywhere.

The road was closed for hours while cleanup crews propped up the damaged big rig and gathered the cans from the scene, cops said.

An extensive road closure was required because the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was not properly notified about the crash, according to NBC Connecticut.

The crash remains under investigation.
