Tina Peters’ attorneys are back in court today as Colorado disregards her Presidential pardon.
Tina Peters served as a county clerk in Mesa County, Colorado, with a legal duty to preserve election records. When she was informed that the election system was to be updated through a “Trusted Build”, she created a backup. Her concern was simple: once data is destroyed, accountability becomes impossible.
For this, she was charged, convicted, and sentenced to nine years in prison.
Tina Peters is 70 years old. A widow. A cancer survivor. A Gold Star mother who lost her Navy SEAL son in service to this country. Whatever one believes about the 2020 election, no rational standard of justice can justify a punishment of this severity for what amounts to record preservation.
This was not law enforcement. It was brutal lawfare (the purposeful abuse of law by government officials to selectively violate the rights of a citizen).
Former Mesa County, Colorado Election Clerk Tina Peters broke no state or federal laws by backing up her Election Management Server (EMS) hard drive, having it analyzed, and even publishing the results. If she had, the federal and Colorado state governments would have legally come down on her for doing so, especially during the Biden administration.
Because they had NOTHING, Colorado (likely at the behest of the DOJ) had to manufacture imaginary felonies and misdemeanors against Clerk Peters and then prosecute her in the state courts.
In mid-December, President Trump pardoned Tina Peters. He had the absolute right and duty to do so. There is ample evidence that the federal government under Biden was involved in the Tina Peters case, which supports the argument that, because the federal government led the effort, directed it, or was a large part of the effort to indict and imprison Tina Peters, President Trump can pardon her.
One shocking piece of evidence indicating that the federal government was behind the Tina Peters case is that Biden’s U.S. Attorney General, Merrick Garland, and FBI Director Christopher Wray participated in initial Mesa County discussions via Webex regarding the findings of Clerk Peters and her actions related to those findings. This meeting occurred before Peters was indicted.
We also know that the full force of the federal government was directly applied to those associated with Tina’s situation, in that the FBI raided Tina’s home. In addition, Tina’s associate, Sherronna Bishop, ’s home also raided by the FBI. Also, ‘My Pillow’ CEO Mike Lindell was also targeted by the FBI, and they confiscated his phone while he was traveling in Minnesota. Lindell was communicating with Tina Peters and offered her his support. These were all federal actions.
Peters was eventually convicted in a state court of first-degree official misconduct, violation of duty, and identity theft.
It’s easy to see that the federal government was involved in this case and that the federal actions noted above, like the raids (that they conveniently ignore now), indicate that this was much more than a Colorado issue. But this is all but ignored by the courts and the corrupt Mainstream Media. CNN this morning used an individual whose wife worked for Dominion Voting Machines as an expert on the Tina Peters case and shared this:
“Ms. Peters’ sentence was not harsh by any reasonable standard,” said Matt Crane, a former GOP clerk who now runs the Colorado County Clerks Association. “Granting clemency to an unrepentant convicted criminal who deliberately sought to undermine our democratic system would be deeply concerning and risks further eroding public trust in the institutions Americans rely on for free and fair elections.”
What a crock of garbage. Tina Peters was doing her job. She made a copy of her county’s results in the 2020 Election and saved it before the corrupt Colorado Soros-backed Secretary of State ordered the “Trusted Build”. This was Peters’ job on a state and federal basis. When Peters shared that the results before and after the “Trusted Build” had changed, she was arrested, indicted, and imprisoned. But this didn’t happen until after Biden’s AG Garland and FBI Head Wray got involved.
