President Trump took one more kick at Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) Saturday while Louisiana voters went to the polls, branding him “disloyal” on a day he risked losing his seat over his 2021 impeachment vote.

“Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana is a disloyal disaster. His entire past campaign for the Senate was about ‘TRUMP,’ how he’s with me all the way, and then, after winning, he turned around and voted to IMPEACH me for something that has now proven to be total “bulls—!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Cassidy “knew at the time, but didn’t care,” Trump wrote, also calling him a “sleazebag” and a “terrible guy” who is “BAD FOR LOUISIANA,” predicting he was “going to get CLOBBERED.”

The latest stop in Trump’s political revenge tour came hours after he re-upped his endorsement of Rep. Julia Letlow (R-La.) for Cassidy’s job.

Trump also tore into Cassidy last month for blocking the nomination of Casey Means for surgeon general.

Cassidy, who is hoping to make the runoff in a race that also includes state Treasurer John Fleming, danced around questions in a CNN interview Friday about his vote to convict Trump of an impeachment count of incitement of insurrection. He called for “living life forward” rather than revisiting his decision.

Then he talked up his own chances, speaking of “when I’m reelected,” and insisting he was the one in the race “who has delivered for Louisiana.”

If no candidate cracks 50%, the top two face off in a June 27 runoff.

Asked what put Cassidy in such grave danger, Jessica Taylor of the Cook Political Report told The Post: “It was impeachment. And they the changed the primary system,” she noted. Rather than face candidates of all parties, Cassidy was forced to run in a closed primary where MAGA support it crucial.

“He was depending upon getting Democratic votes,” Taylor said.
