President Trump will join Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman to campaign in upstate New York next week, The Post has learned.
The commander-in-chief will appear with the Nassau County executive in Syracuse for an event on Oct. 9, according to a source briefed on the visit.
Another source said that Trump was considering making additional upstate campaign stops later this month.

The poll found Blakeman has shrunk Hochul’s lead to just a few percentage points in upstate New York., with the two neck-and-neck at 47-44.
But another poll from Quinnipiac University found Hochul maintaining a commanding lead over Blakeman, 58% to 39%.

Trump endorsed Blakeman late last year, calling him a “fantastic guy” who will “win the big November election.”
