President Trump crowed that Republicans have “never been so united” while lashing out at three GOPers who have gotten under his skin and bashing senators for wanting to keep the filibuster.
“The Republican Party has never been so UNITED AS IT IS RIGHT NOW! Other than Rand Paul, Rand Paul Jr.(Massie!), Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, and a couple of other ‘lowlifes,’” Trump mused on Truth Social late Sunday.
“And other than the fact that many want the Election threatening Filibuster TERMINATED (the Dems will do it in the first minute of their first chance!), and some don’t, there is great spirit and cohesion.”
Trump’s optimistic take on the GOP underscored recent friction within the party.
Earlier this month, the president went nuclear on outgoing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who backed an effort to release the Justice Department’s files on late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and questioned the president’s adherence to the “America First” creed.
Greene stunned the world inside the Beltway Friday by announcing plans to retire on Jan. 5, 2026, which will ensure she is eligible for her congressional pension when she turns 62.

The retirement could cost the House GOP majority early next year, if Democrats flip a Tennessee seat in a Dec. 2 special election.
Meanwhile, Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and sicced some of his top operatives on a mission to primary Libertarian-leaning Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) next year.
Republicans have also had smaller-scale feuds since the government shutdown ended Nov. 12.
Last week, a band of House Republicans raged over a failed bid to censure Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) over her 2019 texts with Epstein to dig up dirt on Trump.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) then forced a vote to censure scandal-scarred Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) over alleged domestic abuse, stolen valor and financial misconduct — all of which he denies.
Additionally, House Republicans split with their Senate peers over a provision tucked into the bill reopening the government that would allow spied-on senators to sue Uncle Sam for damages.
Trump has also repeatedly called unsuccessfully for Senate Republicans to scrap the 60-vote legislative filibuster, which Democrats leveraged to keep the government shut down for a record-breaking 43 days.
“The Republican Party is MUCH BIGGER than it was when I announced in 2015 or, ever was before – Many Millions More Members! We now have the Strongest Border EVER, Biggest Tax Cuts, the Best Economy, Highest Stock Market in USA History, and sooo much more,” Trump added.
“BUT, THE BEST IS YET TO COME! VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!”
