Trump Trolls CNN When Asked About Ban: “They Said they Weren’t Going to be Here, but They Came!” (VIDEO)

President Trump trolled the outlets he banned from the White House last week while meeting with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, making fun of their supposed boycott of coverage of Trump. 

Earlier, as the Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump roasted CNN’s Kaitlan Collins upon arriving at the UNGC, trolling CNN for traveling to New York after being excluded from the press pool for the UN General Assembly. “I’m surprised that CNN is here covering me. You shouldn’t be here,” he told Collins after the outlet planned to suspend coverage.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, major TV outlets, including CNN and Fox News, suspended TV coverage of the White House after CNN was barred from its planned coverage of Trump’s trip to New York. As Vice President, JD Vance told reporters on Monday, CNN’s “special access” to the President was revoked on board Air Force One and in the Oval Office.

While meeting with UK Prime Minister Burnham, Trump was again asked, essentially, whether he would obey a District Judge’s order to reinstate CNN, MS Now, and Politico in the White House press room. Trump said on Monday, after the three outlets filed a lawsuit against him, that he expects District Court Judge Tim Kelly to rule in favor of the plaintiffs, but he will appeal “because Fake News people and publications that only write negatively, and who violate our National Security by writing false and defamatory stories with unknown “sources,” shouldn’t be allowed access to the most important Office anywhere in the World.”

Trump again said the judge “probably will” rule against him because “this is a judge who’s not a particularly fair judge.” He then trolled CNN again, noting, “by the way, they said they weren’t going to be here, but they came.”

“I knew that would happen. What are they not going to be with President Xi tomorrow?” He added. “They say, ‘we will not cover Trump,” he continued, joking with Burnham that he “won’t have this problem,” then slamming the three outlets as “fake” and “dangerous for our country.”

Reporter: If the district court decides against you, will you let the three media outlets back in?

Trump: Well, they probably will because this is a judge who’s not a particularly fair judge, so you never know. But I’m talking about national security. I think we have a right to clean out fake news, you know? News is fake.

And by the way, they said they weren’t going to be here, but they came. You know, I knew that would happen. What are they not going to be with President Xi tomorrow? So, but they say, ‘we will not cover Trump.’ This is something you don’t have to know about. You don’t have to– you won’t have this problem. But no, we have a lot of fake news, and I think when news is fake and it’s actually dangerous. I think we have a right to clear it out.

Reporter: How is it dangerous? Could you just elaborate, how are these news media outlets dangerous?

Trump: When they make statements about the war, when they make false statements, false, malicious, and they don’t have sources, but they say they do. No, no, it’s very dangerous for our country, and I won’t stand for it.
