The raid of a California mansion on Tuesday morning in a probe tied to Eric Swalwell reportedly involves a sex worker as the disgraced former Congressman continues to face investigations into sexual misconduct and assault.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the FBI executed a pre-dawn raid on a mansion in Beverly Hills, California.
Agents were seen outside of the home in an armored truck early this morning.

“We are executing a search warrant. Court documents are sealed. No arrests are planned,” FBI spokesperson Lourdes Arocho told the LA Times.
As reported by the New York Post, the home is believed to be owned by billionaire former CEO of Diamond Resorts International Stephen Cloobeck, who donated to Swalwell’s disbanded gubernatorial campaign, which ended amid allegations of sexual misconduct.
A senior law enforcement source revealed to the Post that the raid is connected to a sex worker.
Cloobeck previously spent over $1 million to support Swalwell’s gubernatorial bid and let him stay in the mansion before ultimately evicting him after he was accused of raping multiple women.
The former Congressman had frequently used the home, even once to film a response to sexual misconduct allegations, the Post notes.
Per NBC, Cloobeck was arrested earlier this year for witness tampering in an investigation involving his then-fiancée.
Swalwell is still under investigation for sexual assault in New York and California.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office sex crimes unit is currently weighing charges against Swalwell, NBC reported earlier this month.
The raid by federal agents continued for several hours after agents arrived before sunrise.
