More arrests were made on Saturday at the Reflecting Pool in Washington, DC, as law enforcement cracks down on vandals destroying the new renovations.
At least two, including former Olympian David Hearn, were arrested on Saturday after destroying the rubber sealant at the bottom of the pool and attempting to stop workers from clearing algae.
“The United States Park Police have arrested multiple individuals for vandalizing our Nations magnificent Reflecting Pool. Who would do such a thing? These are very serious crimes having to do with the destruction of National Monuments. Years in jail! Work will begin immediately on its repair,” Trump wrote on Truth Social earlier.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, deranged leftists are illegally vandalizing the Reflecting Pool near the Lincoln Memorial after Trump’s repairs and beautification of the area.
Trump blasted the lunatics for doing “everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed” after some attempted to rip out the blue rubber sealant lining the bottom of the pool this morning. He further slammed “lightweight” ABC reporter Jonathan Karl for his reporting on the pool meant to attack the “$14 million paint job.”

National Guard troops were surged to the area on Friday to monitor and stop vandalism.

Still, that didn’t stop people from trying. Lyman reported that the National Guard detained another man at the Reflecting Pool this afternoon.

The man reportedly received a citation, which he claimed was for putting his hand in the water.
Another person was captured on video being walked away in handcuffs. “Park Police allege that the person was ripping the bottom of the pool with his hands,” according to independent journalist Oliya Scootercaster.
Officers detained a third person for illegally riding a dirt bike on the pedestrian sidewalks.
