French President Emmanuel Macron shared a clip from his trip to the US on Tuesday, showing him meeting with President Trump in his luxury Midtown Manhattan high-rise apartment.
Trump met with Macron on Monday ahead of his attendance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Macron later met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a much less stunning venue.
Footage shared by Macron offers an inside look at the closed-press meeting.
“We’re gonna go up to my apartment,” Trump told Macron’s team before the video cuts to the inside of Trump’s living room, which is adorned with marbled walls and pillars and gilded roof molding.
“So, how are you,” Macron says as he sits down on the palace couch.”
“I’m good,” Trump responds.
The clip then cuts to his meeting with Zelensky at a venue that looks shabby and ghetto when compared to that of the President’s.
