The Gateway Pundit captured exclusive footage of the historic motorcade safely evacuating President Trump, key members of his wartime cabinet, Vice President Vance, The First Lady, and senior executive staff to the White House Saturday following the failed assassination attempt at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Beginning on Capitol Hill, anticipation built as a MAGA-friendly crowd packed “The Upper Room” at Butterworth’s Club to celebrate President Trump’s return to the once-prestigious event that helped launch his political career.
In his remarks, President Trump was expected to comically excoriate the “Lamestream Media” for its longstanding abuses of basic American rights and freedoms.
Over the past decade, the international press corps has largely targeted the president and his supporters with hostility simply for exercising their First Amendment right to free speech under the US Constitution.
Later Saturday evening, this Gateway Pundit reporter arrived outside The New Media Party at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Standing one block from the White House, US Secret Service agents informed pedestrians of emergency road closures set in place until further notice.
Disgracefully, a failed assassin sought to hijack President Trump’s expression of free speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. This deranged enemy of the US Constitution fired upon brave law enforcement officers during his cowardly attack on our nation’s freely elected leaders, before being detained.
In a gesture of unmatched class and strength, President Trump held a candid press briefing at the White House mere hours later.
Calls for unity have suddenly intensified among Republicans, Democrats, and members of the press. The majority of Americans disavow political violence and support heightened security for our duly elected leaders, as necessary.
