White House Freedom 250 plot involved up to 12 suspects across US who had ‘accelerationist ideology’: feds

The plot to attack the White House’s UFC Freedom 250 event Sunday involved at least 12 suspects across the US who adhered to an “accelerationist” ideology and hoped to bring down American capitalism, according to federal law enforcement sources.

The FBI foiled their plans by infiltrating a Signal chat group planning the explosive attack — with a parent of one kid in the messaging platform reporting it to the police, sources told The Post.

The suspects are in at least four states — California, Ohio, Missouri and Nebraska.

They were plotting to gather in Fredericksburg, Virginia, to launch an explosive drone attack on the White House and surrounding buildings — and then attempt to storm the gates of the White House, according to sources.

Sources said it is not yet clear how prepared the plotters were to actually carry out the attack.

Suspects from the 23-member group subscribed to the far-right “accelerationist” ideology — a nihilist belief also espoused by the San Diego mosque shooters last month.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the plot, which authorities first learned of on June 10, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

Sources said more arrests are possible, and authorities are preparing additional search warrants.

One suspect was allegedly plotting the attack while in a mental health facility, the sources added.

Investigators learned that their aim was to take out “capitalist elites,” “billionaires” and politicians who received money from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), officials also told The Post.

The multi-phase plot included explosive drones striking the South Lawn during the event, forcing attendees to flee outside the White House grounds where they could be picked off by a sniper team, the officials said.

“Thanks to the rapid action of this FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold,” Patel said
