White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared wonderful news on her social media, announcing the birth of her second child.

Leavitt shared, “On May 1st, Viviana aka ‘Vivi’ joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕”

“She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.”

“Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy – I truly felt them throughout the entire experience.”

“God is Good.”

Viviana was born only four days after Karoline held her last White House press briefing.

On Friday, April 24, during Leavitt’s last press gaggle before maternity leave, she told reporters, “On a personal matter, this will likely be my last gaggle for some time.”

“As you can see, I’m about ready to have a baby any minute, so I will see you guys very soon.”

She returned briefly to give remarks on April 27 following the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Karoline and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, also have a son, Nicholas Robert Riccio, who will turn two in July.
