Today on The View, deranged co-host Whoopi Goldberg claimed that Trump is planning a military draft to fight Iran. There is zero evidence for this. It’s like Whoopi is just making things up out of thin air.
Remember a few years back, when the media suddenly claimed to care very deeply about misinformation and disinformation? Apparently, Whoopi and The View didn’t get the memo, because it looks like all of that has gone out the window.
The View is considered part of ABC News. Does ABC News stand by this claim from one of their hosts?

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: Keep in mind the Iranian regime is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. Ten years from now, 20 years from now, they may try to strike the homeland, they may try to strike troops in the region. This doesn’t go away just because you sign a piece of paper.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: No, nothing goes away. And that’s why they’re planning on a draft! They’re planning on a draft! And you’re bitching and moaning that there are women who are part of the – the Army, Navy, all the – and you’re getting rid of people and talking about who shouldn’t be — what the hell are you people doing?!
FARAH GRIFFIN: What it is is they’re changing that you no longer – you used to have to opt into the draft, now it makes it automatic.
GOLDBERG: It’s a draft! I can sorry, it’s a draft! Because if you are 18 to 25, they’re looking at you!
SARA HAINES: Well, they’re increasing that age, too –

Do these imbeciles just sit around before the show and make stuff up to say on the air? Do they also compete for who can come up with the craziest claim? Because it sure looks that way.
