A woman died early Tuesday and a baby has been critically injured after they were allegedly thrown from a Bronx apartment block balcony, according to reports.

Officers swooped on 2550 Olinville Avenue at 3:38 a.m., where they found the two victims on the ground with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated position, the NYPD told The Post. 

Both victims were rushed to Jacobi hospital in critical condition. The woman has since been pronounced dead.

Authorities did not provide any further details about the victims or the nature of the fall.

A witness told cops one of the victims was a baby. They also claimed the infant and woman were thrown from a balcony, WABC reported.

The relationship between the woman and child is unclear and cops have not revealed any details on who allegedly threw them.

NYPD officers were seen entering the 18-story apartment complex amid the ongoing investigation.
