A woman was left fighting for her life after she was struck by a boat while floating down the Colorado River on an inner tube in a hit-and-run boating crash near Needles over the weekend.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. on Saturday, just north of Needles Bridge in Needles, California, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

This week has seen a string of water-related accidents. On Sunday, a California fisherwoman was dragged into the ocean by a powerful sneaker wave.

Bae Cadotte, a 47-year-old Pacifica resident, was fishing along the beach south of Pacifica Pier Tuesday when the water struck, knocking her off her feet and pulling her about 30 feet from the shoreline.

Cadotte was rushed to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, where she was treated for hypothermia and “ocean whiplash.”

Meanwhile, a jet ski operator was arrested for allegedly drunkenly smashing into a pal’s jet ski over the weekend — killing a 26-year-old female passenger who was thrown off and found floating facedown in the water.

Yeisson Reyes-Rodriguez, 27, was arrested on Sunday and hit with second-degree manslaughter and second-degree vehicular manslaughter charges for the fatal crash.

Reyes-Rodriguez was arraigned and ordered held on a $25,000 bond.
