FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Border War that erupted between the Jets and Patriots was compelling theater: Bill Parcells changing sides, then Bill Belichick changing sides to coach Tom Brady, Rex Ryan vowing never to kiss Belichick’s rings.

A rivalry stops being a rivalry when one side dominates the other the way the Patriots did beating the Jets 15 straight times before Robert Saleh sent Belichick out a loser in his last game for Robert Kraft on Jan. 7, 2024.

But Jets vs. Patriots is still New York vs. Boston.

This is Aaron Glenn’s chance to reignite The Rivalry.
