KANSAS CITY, Mo. — What’s done is done.
We all know the Jets should be 4-4 right now, buoyed by evidence that their program is on the rise. Their improved talent — particularly on offense — says so.
But the results do not.
So, instead of bringing a 4-4 record to Kansas City on Sunday to play a formidable (but vulnerable) Chiefs team with a chance to make a statement in Aaron Glenn’s second season as head coach, the Jets take a 2-6 record and a three-game losing streak to Arrowhead Stadium and are positively desperate for a season-resuscitating victory.
