FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Jets lost 26-19 to the Patriots on Sunday to drop to 2-4 this season. Here are some takeaways from the loss:

1. The Jets now have been held below 20 points in four of their six games this season. The only games they went over the 20-point mark were against the Titans and Lions — 23 and 24 points, respectively.

It’s not like the Jets can’t move the ball. They had 324 yards against the Patriots on Sunday, but they are allergic to the end zone. They had eight possessions in Patriots territory but scored only one touchdown, a 48-yard bomb. They kicked four field goals and turned the ball over on downs twice in New England territory.

The Jets have left points on the field all year, and it continued Sunday and doomed them. They were in the game in the second half despite their offense continually coming up short.
