Arch Manning’s grand design to be the first pick of the 2027 NFL Draft has been intercepted.

If he listens to the advice from a number of draft analysts that he return to college, he would have a chance to follow Uncle Peyton and Uncle Eli as a first overall pick — in the 2028 draft.

For the answer to, “What happened to Arch Manning?”, Serby Says turns to Fox Sports college football guru Joel Klatt and ESPN NFL draft analyst Jordan Reid.

Klatt: “You can see a really high ceiling and a lot of talent, but he can struggle with consistency sometimes. And what I see on film is a guy that’s pressing, and so he wants to make the big play, he can hang onto the football a little too long in the pocket. And then there are times when he’ll throw the ball late outside the numbers, and there’s almost a sense of just a touch of panic at the last second where he just throws it and he’d turn the ball over as such.
