Justin Herbert has found his forever partner.

The Los Angeles Chargers starting quarterback got engaged to pop star Madison Beer, she announced on social media on Tuesday.

The power couple first sparked dating rumors back in August 2025 when they were seen together at a video shoot. The relationship was confirmed two months later when Herbert shared a pregame kiss with Beer before the Chargers faced the Washington Commanders.

The two have been inseparable ever since with Herbert consistently accompanying Beer on different stops on her tour and Beer supporting Herbert at games both individually and with her family.

Beer rose to fame after Justin Bieber posted a link to her YouTube cover song on Twitter in 2012. At the time, Beer was only 13 years old. She’s blossomed from internet sensation into a Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter.

Beer released her third studio album Locket in January 2026. The Locket Tour ran from May 11, 2026 to July 13, 2026. Her final performance of the tour concluded at Madison Square Garden.

Not long after wrapping up her tour, Beer is officially a fiancée.

Herbert missed the Chargers’ voluntary team workouts to attend Beer’s tour in May. Head coach Jim Harbaugh had no problem with Herbert’s early absence as he praised the quarterback’s devotion to football.

“There’s times I’ve wanted to shoo him out of the building,” Harbaugh said. “He’s at every voluntary, every non-voluntary workout. Same guy that broke his hand and he was here the next day practicing. The next game, stiff arming guys. So, yeah, I was happy. Happy. You know, good balance. Good balance.”

Herbert and the Chargers face immense pressure to earn a playoff win in the third season of the Harbaugh era. The team added Mike McDaniel in the offseason as their new offensive coordinator, with many around the league expecting the unit to be explosive in 2026.

The discourse surrounding Herbert hinges on his success as a quarterback in the playoffs. Thus far, his talents haven’t been showcased well because of the Chargers’ struggles.

However, Herbert did receive one vote on the MVP ballot because of his performance last season. The Oregon product is coming off a campaign where he threw for 3,727 yards with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He had a 66.4 completion percentage in 2025.

Herbert and Beer haven’t revealed any date for the wedding, but the upcoming NFL season will surely be different for the couple as the pair plan their upcoming nuptials.
