Report card from the Knicks’ 109-93 win over the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden:

Jalen Brunson

A combination of a poor shooting night and persistent defensive pressure made a facilitator out of Brunson, who finished with 14 assists. Trusted his teammates and they delivered.

Grade: B+

Karl-Anthony Towns

Started hot with 13 points in the first half. The center ended with another double-double — 18 points and 13 boards. Did what he needed to do, especially on the defensive glass.
