Report card from the Knicks’ 126-97 Game 5 win over the Hawks on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden:

Jalen Brunson

His best performance of the series, by far, as he buried the Hawks with a footwork clinic in the fourth quarter, finishing with 39 points and eight assists and just one turnover. It was a reminder that the best offensive player in this series is No. 11 on the Knicks.

Grade: A+

Karl-Anthony Towns

Was a power force in the first half, entering the break with a near triple-double pace.
