Kylian Mbappé stuns young fans ahead of World Cup match against England

Just before Kylian Mbappé was set to take the field against England for the World Cup’s third-place match Saturday in Miami, he left some young fans speechless.

As Mbappé walked onto the field, a group of young soccer players was hanging nearby. They had a moment they will never forget as Mbappé walked right by them, leaving them stunned.

The group of kids couldn’t believe what was happening as Mbappé walked by and acknowledged them, creating an unforgettable moment.

The World Cup will conclude Sunday. Argentina and Spain are scheduled to play in the tournament final in New Jersey.

On Tuesday, France’s hopes of winning the tournament came to an end after a 2-0 loss to Spain, which led to some France players questioning the officiating.

England ended up in Saturday’s third-place battle against France after a 2-1 loss to Argentina on Wednesday.

Since the tournament began in early June, Mbappé has shown the world why he is considered one of the sport’s best talents. He finished the 2026 World Cup with 10 goals.

The World Cup first got a taste of Mbappé’s greatness during the 2018 tournament when he played a key part in helping France win its first World Cup since 1998 at just 19 years old.

In his first tournament, Mbappé had four goals, including one in the tournament’s final game against Croatia.

Since the 2018 World Cup, he’s spent his career playing for Paris Saint-Germain and then with Real Madrid when he signed a five-year deal.
