The 49ers don’t know how long star edge rusher Nick Bosa will be sidelined after he suffered a calf injury during practice this week.
But Bosa is expected to miss at least several weeks of action. Therefore, Bosa’s model girlfriend, Ella Ailiff, might have to find other things to do on Sundays aside from watching her boyfriend on the football field.
It seems that Ailiff already has one hobby that can pass the time: gardening.
Ailiff posted a photo of a garden to her Instagram Story on Saturday. The photo highlighted several vegetables in the garden, including asparagus, cauliflower, rainbow carrots, green snap peas and broccoli.
“New season,” Ailiff captioned the post, showing that her veggies are growing.
In 2022, Bosa detailed how strict his diet has become since entering the NFL. The 28-year-old told Matt Barrows of The Athletic that his diet consists of ceviche, tuna poke and “lots and lots” of fruit juices. He left Chipotle burritos and McDonald’s McGriddles in the rearview mirror when he left college.
One would imagine that Bosa already consumes his fair share of vegetables. But perhaps he can also benefit from Ailiff’s garden.
Maybe the added nutrients can help his calf heal and get the 49ers superstar back on the field as quickly as possible.
