The Pittsburgh Steelers 2026 schedule has arrived. Get home game tickets today

Things are awfully confusing in the Steel City.

After leading the Pittsburgh Steelers to their third consecutive playoff berth (and subsequent Wild Card round loss), head coach Mike Tomlin stepped down after his 19th season with the team.

He has been replaced by former Packers and Cowboys field general Mike McCarthy.

Still, the pesky Aaron Rodgers question mark remains.

As you’ll likely recall, the shoo-in Hall of Fame quarterback came back after a rough two-year stint with the Jets and threw for 3,322 yards and 24 touchdowns in his 21st (!) NFL season for the black and yellow.

Yet, rather than re-sign with the club right away, the California native has played coy and is yet to commit to the Steelers.

So, while we don’t know exactly what McCarthy’s squad will look like next year, we at least know who they’ll be taking on in the 2026 regular season now that the NFL schedule has officially landed.

Notable opponents headed to Pittsburgh’s Acrisure Stadium this year include Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati Bengals (Sept. 27), Daniel Jones’ Indianapolis Colts (Oct. 11), Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos (Nov. 27), C.J. Stroud’s Houston Texans (Dec. 6) and Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens (Dec. 20).

And, while Rodgers’ potential return is still a toss-up, T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, Joey Porter Jr., Patrick Queen and Keeanu Benton are all returning.

They’ll be joined by splashy offseason acquisitions like speedy cornerback Jamel Dean, pure running back Rico Dowdle, physical safety Jaquan Brisker, flexible defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day and punter Cameron Johnson who was with the team in 2024.

Blue-chip rookies Max Iheanachor, Germie Bernard and potential quarterback insurance Drew Allard are also set to make waves come ’26.

All that’s missing now (other than Rodgers, of course) is you.
